FocusLock Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 17, 2026

Who we are

FocusLock is an iPhone app made by GenzLogic, an independent app studio ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app does with information when you use it.

Information we collect

We do not collect any personal information. FocusLock has no account or sign-up, and we do not receive your name, email address, location, contacts, device identifiers or usage data.

Screen Time access

FocusLock uses Apple's Screen Time technologies (Family Controls, Managed Settings and Device Activity) to block apps, set schedules and apply daily limits. To work, the app asks for your permission through Apple's standard Screen Time authorization prompt.

• When you choose apps, categories or websites, Apple's picker gives the app private tokens. FocusLock cannot see the names of the apps you choose.
• Your blocks, groups, schedules, limits and settings are saved only on your device, in storage shared between the app and its Screen Time extensions.
• This information is never sent to us or to any third party.

You can withdraw this permission at any time in Settings > Screen Time, or by deleting the app.

Third parties

FocusLock does not include advertising, analytics or tracking tools, and it does not share information with third parties. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Data retention and deletion

Because your information stays on your device, you control it. Deleting FocusLock removes its data from your iPhone. We hold no copy and have nothing to delete on our side.

Children's privacy

FocusLock is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If the app changes in a way that affects your privacy, we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
